Visit My Lesotho

AN INVITATION TO LESOTHO – MY HOME LAND

Lumelang! (Greetings) My name is Mohau Rafobane I was born some forty years ago at Khanyane which is a small village just outside the Leribe town in Lesotho – a small country of just above 30000 square kilometers in the southern most tip of the African continent. Through this blog will be informing you about this small country and I will be updating you from time to time about tourist attractions in Lesotho and new interesting things happening in this country. I have traveled very widely in Africa and the world having visited at least ten African countries including Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique etc. I have seen the gigantic Kilimanjaro, the beauty of Lake Tangangika, the colouful Wild animals of Mikumi National Park. I have wondered about the vastness of Lake Nyasa and smelled its bountiful fish. I have sniffed the perfume of the beautiful purple flowers of the ………… trees in and around KwaBulawayo in Matebeleland. I almost grew dizzy of watching the beautiful falls of Msiwatunya in Livingstone. I have seen the tall Masai of Kenya drink fresh blood from their cattle. I have also touched the beautiful tanzanite only found in Tanzania. I can go on and on about the beautiful scenery of Africa but in the midst of it all I have never seen a country as unique in its beauty as Lesotho. This is not just mere patriotism but a genuine portrayal of a country waiting to be discovered. Stay with me as I shall share and unfold the miracle of the land of clear skies. I will share with you the culture of the Basotho people, the tourist destinations, and information about accommodation as well as business opportunities.
